REGISTERING with Swimming NZ
Please refer to the instructions below on how to sign up for Fastlane. For first-time registrants, please allow ample time, as new accounts must be activated by the club’s recorder before entering meets can occur.

Membership Types Swimmers
Learn to Swim
Entry:
All swimmers from Learn to Swim programs, up to and inclusive the Laing squad.
Eligible to race at:
- Club Competitions
Benefits:
- Results and PBs via MyTogs app
- Entry times and seeding at club nights based on previous results
- Past PBs being recognised for future inter-club and regional meets if you decide to progress with swimming
Drysdale squad
Non-competitive Junior LVWA Swim Club Member
Entry:
Drysdale squad members, not intending to compete at other than Club nights and club championships.
Eligible to race at:
- As learn to swim
- Club nights and club meets, such as the Tri-series.
Benefits:
- As per Learn to swim.
Recreational swimmer
Junior LVWA Swim Club Member.
Entry:
All Carrington swimmers.
A swimmer who swims for health, wellbeing, fitness, or lifestyle.
Eligible to race at:
- Club Nights and Club Championships – e.g. Tri Series (LVWA only)
Competitive swimmer 12 & Under
Entry:
All Adams squad members 12 years or under.
Any swimmers 12 years and under wishing to compete at a swim meet outside the club nights or club championships.
Eligible to race at:
- International Competitions (if applicable due to age)
- National Championships (if applicable due to age)
- Regional Championships
- Inter Club Competitions
- Club Competitions
- Time Trials
- School Competitions
Competitive swimmer 13 & Over
Entry:
All Adams squad members 13 years or older. All Devoy, Loader, Hillary squads.
Any swimmers 13 years and over wishing to compete at a swim meet outside the club nights or club championships.
Eligible to race at:
- International Competitions
- National Championships
- Regional Championships
- Inter Club Competitions
- Club Competitions
- Time Trials
- School Competitions

Membership Types Other
Officials
Eligibility:
Timekeepers, IOTs, JOTs, AOD, Starter, Judge.
Benefits:
- Participation at designated meets as a registered official.
- History of participated meets.
- Build experience and track record for your officially recognised accreditations.
Registration process:

New to Fastlane?

Make an appropriate selection for required membership.
PLEASE NOTE
After setting up a profile for your swimmer, you will have the opportunity to create another profile for a different family member. Please avoid doing this, as there is a known issue with Fastlane that prevents access to this second profile.
If you need to register another child, please start the process from the beginning.
PAUSE or CANCEL Your Membership
If you’re stepping away from competitive swimming for a season or longer, you have the option to put your Swimming NZ membership on hold or cancel it altogether.
Changed your mind later? No worries — your profile can be reinstated at any time.

Reinstating Your Membership
If your membership subscription is unpaid by May each year, it will automatically expire. Consequently, you will be unable to participate in any competitions until your membership is reactivated and the fees are settled. T
