With the new financial year Swimming NZ has introduced a number of updates that affect both membership types and race entry requirements.

As part of the new financial year (1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026), Swimming NZ has updated its membership categories at the national level. These changes have flowed through to regional and club levels.

The Liz van Welie Aquatics Swim Club had an outstanding year, marked by a 60% membership increase and exceptional performances at national and international competitions.
