What an incredible week for coach Sam Knapp and the Div II swimmers in Dunedin.
Huge swims. Huge results. Huge team support.
Our team included Paris McConnell, Rosie Kneale, Emma Fletcher, Alivia Jenkins, Tessa Harvey, Kate Dekker, George Wyllie, Hunter Sands, Gianni Martin, Brayden Scharvi, Kylan Ellis, and Asa Banbury. Here are a few facts from the meet.
- 12 swimmers – most ever for LVWA at Div II
- 10th place (girls outscoring the boys by 37 points)
- top performing team in the BOP
- 17 medals (8 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze)
- including 2 mixed relay wins!
- 73% PB (not including relays) – Every swimmer came away with at least one individual PB and just about every swim on the relays were PB’s!
